New York Fashion Week 2012

After a long there was some fashion show which had the stuff that could be wearing in normal routine life by normal human beings. I took a close look at almost every fashion show in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012. Best of all was the Venexiana Fall 2012 Fashion Show where well designed dresses could be seen on Asian Faced Models. All the dresses were related to a single class and single theme as well except the few one. Getting a glance at the dresses shown in this fashion show gave me the idea as if next six months girls will wear nothing but foot-length umbrella maxis. Jokes apart, the dresses and the models were really awesome. I admire the designer with nice words for the dress designing he did.

After having a chance to view this beautiful collection, I knew that it won’t be now easy to admire any other fashion designer work and the Prabal Gurung’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection proved it true. Strange sort of dresses were coming before my eyes. Models were makeup in a traditional fashion show style with dark eyes effect. Dresses were not as bad as I’m describing here but I not liked at all. No doubt you could say that these dresses were made for winter.

Son Jung Wan Fall 2012 collection of dresses was mixture of various themes and he beautifully mixed his bad work in the best one that you could bear it. He presented various spring dresses as well in his fall collection. Most of the dresses were quite simple but awesomely elegant. The best thing was the selection of model according to the dresses. When he had to present some light mood dress, perfectly matched model appeared on the runway.

Nicole Miller Fall 2012 Collection of dresses made me a bit fall in love with some of models walking on the runway. The dresses were so romantic and appealing that I kept staring. Lacoste crossed the limits of simplicity and nothing glamorous was there in its dress collection for fall 2012. When the first one appeared on the ramp, it looked awesome but then copies started appearing after one and other which gave a monotonous taste. To change my taste, I decided to leave and to have some tasty meal. I will be back with some new stuff and may be with some new dressing ideas for the coming seasons. Keep Reading!
